FIXED LIGHTING TOWERS WITH LADDER AND PLATFORM

- Description

This type of tower is used for lighting large areas and is specifically designed for sports facilities, such as stadiums and soccer, rugby and baseball fields, but is also suitable for smaller applications, like tennis courts and outdoor swimming pools.


THE TOWER IS MADE UP OF THE FOLLOWING ELEMENTS:

- The mast
The mast consists of two or more sections, depending on the height of the tower, of troncconical shape with a polygonal section, made of steel sheet folding pressed and longitudinally welded. The sections are coupled through junction for overlapping engagement using the methodology "Slip on Joint" producing the complete frame. The sections are also equipped with supports for the anchoring of the climbing ladder. The trunk is usually fixed at the ground by direct burying to the foundation plinth made of cls and it is designed with one or more slots for the entry of power cables and a plate with hole for grounding bolt.

- Ascent system
A continuous, modular ladder with a standard metal cage for protection against falls, made from structural steel laid out on a single axis and fastened to the shaft using appropriate brackets. The ladder consists of a central upright to which are welded the rungs of climb. The ladder is equipped with security anti-rising cap and an optional additional ladder.

- Intermediate landing
The tower is equipped with one or more landings based on its height above the ground.

- Platform
The floodlight support platform is equipped with cross pieces for sustaining the lighting elements and has non-slip grated flooring complete with a 1 metre high railing, as well as an access hatch and intermediate section breakers. It is also equipped with crossbars for the support of the lighting bodies provided and of welded curve for the output of the electric cables..

- Material
Mast: S355 steel UNI EN 10025
Accessories and structural work: S235JR steel UNI EN 10025

- Corrosion protection
Hot-dip galvanization in accordance with the UNI EN ISO 1461 standard.
