Bitumen
It is the outer covering of the underground section of the post, which consists in applying a brush of a product based on special bitumen with characteristics of good anti-corrosive properties in humid environments and excellent waterproofing power. This treatment is therefore referred to as protective sdi underground metal structures.
HEAT SHRINK
The shrink tube is a tubular sleeve made of polyolefin reticolataad thick, useful to protect against corrosion the underground part of the pole and the one immediately above the terreno.l aparete internal guiaina is coated with a hot melt adhesive which guarantees a perfect seal, avoiding the entrance and water stagnation. The application of such sheath at the base of the pole also prevents the attack of corrosive agents which would cause a progressive decay of the metal, and consequently significantly increases the length of the pole itself.
STRENGTHENING BASIC
The reinforcing base is a sleeve in steel tube S235JR soldered outside the base of the pole, in the section interlocking with the ground, with the function of protection against corrosion. This operation is of course performed in the processing step of post still rough, so that it is the pole that reinforcement are galvanized.
