Polygonal Columns
The conical poles polygonal series "SOT", are cut from flat sheets of trapezoidal shape at-cold bent and formed so as to obtain a "shell" frusto-conical to 8, 12 or 16 open sides. Such residual opening is progressively closed by means of a system of pressures and welding realized with an automatic procedure. Many polygonal poles, for their dimensional characteristics and use, and for high heights are realized in two trunks Pluggable, by overlapping forced.
The materials used for the construction of the poles with polygonal cross section are cut lengths, and subsequently laser cut or sheared, steel S 235JR (UNI EN 10025) certified type 3.1.B. Welds made by us, are executed with automatic procedure (SAW), in agreement with the reference standard EN 287, and are certified by (EWF) European Federation of Welding.
The poles from 11.00 meters to 14.00 meters included, they are all supplied complete with 3 standard workings at the base of the pole: cable entry slot, pocket for making terrae slot for housing electrical terminal block. The stakes are higher than without a slot for housing terminal. All poles are protected against corrosion by hot dip galvanizing by immersion in molten zinc, according to the UNI EN ISO 1461.
